Two types of high quality sperm separations

Nidacons product SpeediKit and a regular density gradient both serve the purpose of creating high quality sperm separations however, there are some distinct advantages to SpeediKit over a traditional density gradient.

Key Benefits of SpeediKit

  1. Pre-Made, Ready-to-Use:
    • SpeediKit is a pre-made, ready-to-use product. It comes as a 10-patient kit with 10x4mL of PureSperm 80 and 10x6mL of PureSperm Wash in glass centrifuge tubes. This is optimized for saving time and being easy to use.
    •  It reduces variability that could be introduced by manual preparation.
  2. Consistency and Reproducibility:
    • Because it’s pre-prepared under controlled conditions, the solution will be more consistent leading to better reproducibility in your results.
  3. Ease of Use:
    • It simplifies the procedure, as you don’t need to worry about choosing the right density medium or preparing gradients with precision.
    • The kit is user-friendly, and it allows for a faster setup and cleanup process.
  4. Glass centrifuge tubes:
    • The tubes have been MEA tested and there is no risk for chemical leaching into the sample.
    • They will also maintain a stable temperature and will not retain bacteria or contaminants as easily as plastic.
    • The glass tubes are completely transparent which makes processing easy
